Some of you may have noticed that I vanished from the net for a few days... But, if you have read my previous entry you already guess why though.
Yes, I've been traveling to south of France to see my family for my B-day, and it was quite great indeed. And, even if I brought my laptop along, something was always happening so I've barely found the time to go on line (which in a way is not that bad after all). }:P
I will spare you the long report of all that happened, and let you enjoy some pictures instead:
 B-day present from my family. PS3 = SCORE ! }:D
High tech game console are neat, but B-day present like this are indeed better, and my favorite too. Done by the one and only one amazing shinigamigirl

--- Now, just give me a few days to catch up with all your mails, LJ & FA notes, m'kay ?! };P |

| Trip to France |
[Jun. 15th, 2009|09:13 pm] |
Talked with my family yesterday and, as I'm still job-less, they asked me to go to France to visit them, so we can celebrate my Birthday (in June 18th) together.
It will be a 8 hours trip, starting tomorrow morning, and staying there for around a week. Finally something else to do than staying "trapped" in the house in Swiss-Chocoland ! }:P |

Man, that was the most yummy food I ever made using this. orcakeiko and I even agreed that our fries where more tasty than the ones at Mc Do even ! }XD

Except some rare hard case, I'm usually someone who always stay positive, what ever happen, and I knew that my bad-luck cannot stay too long around because of that. So YAY for me, I just got a letter saying the park paid too much money for my insurance, and they gave me 1500$ back !
MMMmmmmmm... Easy money ! }XD |

 My new bike, finally !
Oh my... My ass hurt a lot, and NOT from what you're thinking you pervs ! }XD
I ride the new bike for around a hour and a half yesterday, and wow I was soo dead after, but it feels soo good to finally be able to exercise again, instead of staying all the time stuck in the house front of the computer or TV or what ever.
Today I cannot ride though, because we are having a HELL of a rain storm with hail as big as ice cubes. I hope that old house will hold fine though, as I start hearing the roof crackling already as i type this. O.o ---
Job wise, I got some weird offer I have to check about.
- Someone from the old trainer's team who have a friend who have a project in Dubai involving dolphins show, and want me in. - A French fur opening a animals park in north of France, and want me in to create a marine mammals section. - A owner of a trainer school in Canada asking me to go to train sea lions in Bankok's zoo (Thailand) - A Hollywood star who is making a movie script about synchronized swimmer with dolphins, and want to ask me advises for writing her story. <-- Don't underestimate the power of Facebook ! O.o
---
And for those interested, I'm running a auction HERE, as I have to unfortunately move from the house soon, and will need to sale most of my personal stuff before I do. |

Got a sun burn today, driving my car with the top open (yup, that's how hot is it here right now!). I went to check a bicycle I've seen for sale on Ebay, and which was actually not too far away from here. It's brand new, and pretty good price too. So soon, I may finally have a bike to try to keep in shape. }:P |

Otherwise, I just came back from France to sort out some troubles with the French tax company, and I took advantage of being there to buy myself a nice new laptop (yeah, all about being able to have a French keyboard on it!), as my old one is dying, and I definitely need one when I travel. It's a nice small and shinny beast, surprisingly almost as functional as a normal laptop and quite cheap too !
Of course, being in France and in a area famous for their "Crêpes" specialties, I just had to eat some yummy ones while I was there too. Then back in Swiss, orcakeiko just gifted me with a quite nice phone, which will changes me from my crappy old one for sure.
So yeah, so far... So good... ---
Btw folks, something you may want to check out, since these days it seems that Twitter owns the Internet's users:

--- Flying over The Netherlands this time, geographically low-lying country, with about 27% of its area and 60% of its population located below sea level. The country is often called "Holland", which is formally incorrect as North Holland and South Holland are merely two of its twelve Provinces. This quite densely populated country its also known for its traditional windmills, tulips, cheese, clogs (wooden shoes), delftware and Gouda cheese and pottery, for its bicycles, and in addition, traditional values and civil virtues such as its social tolerance.
Our first destination will be around the city, where you will notice the presence of lot of rivers and canals. Then, a quick touch down to eat pancakes (or Crepes) with my friend Joran, in this lovely location, where they seems to be serving Crepes all day long, followed by a nice walk in the forest, where the floor was made of sand, and trees seemed to walk.
Then, we will be heading to Gouda, the famous village (and now quite a small city in fact) from which the famous named cheese originally came from. Our next stop will be in the Delphinarium of Harderwijk, where you could see a quite good variety of different animals, other than just dolphins and sea lions. The visit was great, being able to see johnnyk and shinigamigirl again, as well as the dolphin supervisor, who appears to be also a friend I know since a long time, and who managed to let us 3 for free in the park, as well as giving us the full backstage tour. The main goal of this stop was of course, to have a interview for a eventual senior trainer position, which I didn't get due to the fact they where just hiring seasonal this year, and also because the senior trainer who left, came back there too.
So, the trip is over. Flying back home for now, with unfortunately not much more than some good memories from a completely, but yet interesting, foreign country. Thanks for traveling with me over this LJ's entry, and I hope to see you again soon on board. };) |

After my trip to Montreal (where I had a great time visiting around the city and nice places with shinigamigirl), and my trip to Chicago and then Des Moines, here I am again, traveling to Amsterdam this time, for another job interview at Harderwijk.
I'm staying in the area the whole week (so until the 18th of April), and then back in Swiss again for another "wait & see" period.
Until I'm back, I will be visiting some friends in the area as well, as I never been there before and I need to see if I may eventually like it here and such, in case I have to move at some point.
Edit: HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE ! };)

Okey, it's now almost midnight, and everything is packed and ready, and I can go to bed not too late for a change. I have to woke up tomorrow morning around 6am, to be able to catch my train and then my plane to Montreal, Canada.
I think I really needed this trip. Positive or not on the job offers, I badly need to get out of this house and change a bit my mind now. Plus, I love exploring country I never been on before. };) |
